TBC Classic First-Aid Profession and Leveling 1-375 Guide

TBC Classic offers a variety of secondary occupations, including first aid.

A secondary profession, First Aid is very affordable and anyone can learn it. It's extremely useful in leveling up and also has significant advantages when it comes to content in the final game. This guide will explain the First Aid requirements as well as how to get leveled up the level, what tools are required and what kinds of bandages are available.

TBC Classic offers a variety of secondary occupations, including first aid. Because of this, it can be learned by any player without having to compete with other professions. The bandages it makes are themselves very useful as a Mana-free heal that is suitable for any class. These are especially useful for Rogues and Warriors, particularly during levelling.

PvP and Raiding are other situations where bandages can be useful and should be used regularly. Removing a heal from an untidy bandage is often the key to winning or losing a game at the Arena. Bandages are useful in dungeons and raids to help you save Mana or help you stay alive in times of difficulty.

Healing from bandages works as an targeted channel-over-time. Bandages can be applied to yourself or to a friend. The channel will be stopped immediately if there's injury caused by the person receiving treatment. You will be given a debuff called Recently Bandaged IconRecently Bandaged. This prevents you from applying bandages for 60 seconds after being treated.

Training First Aid

Vanilla

You can train Apprentice or Journeyman First Aid by finding a trainer in any city. They should be able to train you up to Expert.

You will need to locate an online retailer that sells Expert First Aid under wraps. The vendor you'll need to contact is Deneb Walker in Stromgarde Keep, Arathi Highlands. Balai Lok’Wein in Brackenwall Village, Dustwallow Marsh can do the same thing for the Horde. They also offer recipes for the bandages needed for continuing to level.

To reach Artisan in order to be a successful Artisan, you'll need to finish a specific profession quest. You can start the chain by completing either Alliance Trauma in Nissa Firestone, Ironforge, or Horde Trauma in Arnok in Orgrimmar. All Alliance players should be able to report to Doctor Gustav VanHowzen on Theramore Isle, Dustwallow Marsh. The Horde should find Doctor Gregory Victor at Hammerfall, Arathi Highlands.

Both sides will be able to complete the Triage quest after having been seen by their respective doctors. There are three kinds of patients spawned after the quest starts: Injured (Badly Injured) Critically Injured (Critically Injured). To finish the quest fast and efficiently, you must first concentrate your focus on the critically injured patients. After that, focus your attention on the critically sick patients. In the final phase, focus on those who are injured severely then you'll be required to treat those who are not injured. The purpose of the mission is to save 15 patients before six die, and it is okay for some of them to die. This will happen. But, if you follow the order of Critically Injured Badly Injuredand then injured, it will boost your chances of getting through the quest on your first attempt.

When you enter the Outlands, you'll need to purchase a different guide called Master First Aid - Doctor inside the House -- to train up to Master. Each faction will get their guide from a particular Doctor in Hellfire Peninsula. The Horde can buy copies from Arsella in Falcon Watch while the Alliance can purchase them from Burko in the Temple of Telhamat. These doctors will also sell you your next set recipe for bandaging. Make sure to grab those too!

Training First Aid over 150

Find out the Silk Bandage recipe from your trainer prior to leaving!

The Expert First Aid Under Wraps book can be used to train first aid beyond 150.

The book is available through Deneb Walker (Alliance) in Arathi Highlands, and Balai Lok'Wein (Horde) in Dustwallow Marsh. These vendors are also selling the two following bandage recipes, so be sure you purchase all three! If you're at a low or not in the right level, you can buy the book at the Auction House instead of wasting many hours rushing to the vendor. If you're like me, also buy the book at the Auction House.

These books are available for purchase:

Expert First Aid - In the covers

Manual Instructions for Heavy Silk Bandage

Manual: Mageweave bandage.

You can then make Silk Bandages by right-clicking on Expert First Aid under wraps and placing them in the bag. (you have to go back and see your first aid instructor if you didn't learn the Silk Bandage recipe)

Training First Aid above 225

You can train First Aid beyond 225 and also learn Artisan First Aid by completing the Triage quests.

Once you have achieved an First Aid skill level of between 225 and 35 You are now eligible to begin the Alliance Trauma/ Horde Trauma quest (optional). These quests will lead you to Triage and Triage within Dustwallow Marsh or Arathi Highlands.

Bring everything you need for a level of skill that is at 290 since you'll need to master several recipes later from the NPCs who give quests, Doctor Gustaf VanHowzen / Doctor Gregory Victor, so bring around 100 pieces of Mageweave Cloth as well as 70 x Runecloth along with you.

Doctor Gustaf VanHowzen in Dustwallow Marsh at Theramore Isle. He can be found inside the main store, which is where guards are trained outside. Enter the building and take a right, then turn left and you'll find him in that corner of the room. Doctor Gregory Victor is at Arathi Highlands in Hammerfall. Enter the village and turn left. He's in the building to the left, just after the entrance.

How do you complete the Triage Quest

Here are some tips to help you to make your search more enjoyable

Unsane patient Critically Ill - Patients who are seriously injured may die if you fail to heal the other two patients.

Patient who is trolled injured Patients with injuries are likely to die when you treat 4 other patients.

Orc patient Injured – Patients who have been injured endure for a long period before they die.

This knowledge will help you decide which of your ailments you'd like to treat first. If you begin by working on the left side, and then continue with the rest, your patients will usually survive until you've completed the round. I tried this method and was able to complete it in the first attempt.

To activate the health bar above the patients' heads to allow for quick monitoring by pressing CTRL + V. or tick the "Show NPC Names" option in Interface Options.

Move your camera into third person to take in as much as you can.

Use the triage bandages your doctor gave you in the action bar. Don't use your own. It could be tied to any key.

You should be in the middle of the room.

When you see another patient, click left on them to pre-select them, and as soon as your current healing is complete, click the bandages in the action bar. the pre-selected one will begin to heal. It will save you time.

After you've saved 15, complete the quest as soon as you can. It was a fail for me since I waited for 6 patients to die. died. The mission was considered "complete" but "failed.

Classic TBC does not have First Aid training. To master the new TBC First Aid skill and achieve a level of training that is above 300, you need to buy the book Master First Aid - Doctor in the House. It is sold by the two NPCs below.

Horde: Aresella in Hellfire Peninsula at Falcon Watch. Way #100 26.2 62.0

Alliance: Burko on the Hellfire Peninsula in the Temple of Telhamat. Way #100 22.4 39.5

They also offer Manual Netherweave Heavy Bandage and Manual: Netherweave Bandage, therefore, make sure you purchase the items before you leave! You'll need both of these to raise the level of First Aid up to 375.
