Here, we’re witnessing yet another upcoming colorway, which applies a full black palette to the ever-beloved Dunk Low. Far more understated than the iterations prior, the release lenses near every fixture in the aforementioned neutral.The upper of the shoe features a black suede base with matching ballistic nylon collars.But while dark in its color, the construction is anything but ordinary as it mixes together materials and textures of many kinds. For instance — though the overlays are standard in their suede make — the mid-panel and toe proffer a perforation that’s then paired with faux fur Swooshes and a ballistic mesh collar.Branding comes in form of faux fur Swooshes, UNDEFEATED Five Strike logo tongue tags and heel debossing, “NIKE” on the heel tabs and printed insoles.Undefeated’s strike logo then emblazons atop, placed just overhead a blue-tinged outsole.

Jordan 2020 Release has provided the Air Max 95 a wardrobe more than extensive.The connection between Nike and Japan goes way back to their formative years, as does the Air Max 95 silhouette, which was embraced by Japan’s streetwear culture from day dot. Early last year we saw a trio of exclusives arrive for the silhouette’s 25th anniversary, including the Air Max 95 “Spring Flower”, “Cherry Blossom” Air Max 95s, and the “Mt Fuji” Air Max 95 Utility. Alongside an updated version of the “Greedy” colorway, the silhouette will bring back the “Comet” though with a few Japanese-inspired touches.Arriving in patriotic hues of white and red with the oft-seen grey and black accents, the pair arrives anchored in a brushed cotton plisse base of bright white, before greyscale overlays of canvas and cotton run from black to white from top to bottom, with white canvas capping the toe. Through its exterior, the offering is quite faithful, adapting the original palette to relatively close spec. The materials, however, are where the pair sets itself apart, each proffering a more natural texture throughout. The toe and side layers, for example, opt for what looks to be canvas, while suede, sheer mesh, and leathers fill in the blanks adjacent. Finally, along the outsole, the Japanese references come to a head thanks to the red-dressed, floral mosaic.
